A renovation of a disused toilet block in Robertson Park, Renfrew; the project is part of a wider city strategy to improve the outreach of local business – that will eventually tie in to the new sus-trans infrastructure of Paisley & Renfrewshire. The main theme of the proposal is to repurpose the building and create new apertures, to open up the building and engage with the park and the street. Materiality and form were designed to be tactile in nature with operational mechanisms & exposed fixings included to accentuate the workshop typology.
