The renovation re-imagines a 1950s family home to support contemporary living while responding to a steeply sloping site. Existing disconnected rooms were reorganised into a clear sequence of living, dining, and private spaces, improving adjacencies and daily usability. A series of descending internal galleries now negotiate the significant level change toward the rear garden, transforming circulation into an experiential journey rather than a constraint. These stepped spaces introduce light deep into the plan, frame shifting views, and create moments for pause and connection. The result is a home with improved flow, legibility, and spatial richness that aligns movement, topography, and family life into a cohesive whole.
